Macallan 2005 Exceptional Cask 2018/ESB-6513-05 750ml
The 2018 Macallan Exceptional Casks were bottled mostly for the United States and parts of Asia. The range takes its name from a number of single cask bottlings Macallan released during the 1990s, which are often described as some of "the greatest Macallan of them all."
Distilled on the 21th April 2005 and bottled over 13 years later after maturing in single European oak sherry butt #6513 (Ref: 2017/ESH-6513/05).
Selected by Macallan Whisky Maker Sarah Burgess, this was the 5th cask to be reserved for the 2018 series on 12th December of 2017.
One of only 483 bottles.
