Cascahuin 55-25 Tequila Anejo

The highly coveted, additive-free commemorative release produced at NOM 1123. It marks the 70th anniversary (1955–2025) of the iconic Cascahuín Distillery located in El Arenal, Jalisco. Widely celebrated by enthusiasts as a masterclass in barrel management, this limited allocation marries traditional agave flavors with rare cask aging.

Made as a one-off special edition made in honor of the family's 70th anniversary named for their moto of maintaining 55% tradition and 25% innovation. Artisanal, thoughtful production made from the distillers own natural agave fields and aged nearly entirely in sherry casks - extremely rare for tequila. Already being dubbed 'the greatest anejo ever' with some even mentioning as perhaps even the greatest tequila ever. Extremely limited.

  • The Blend: Composed of 90% tequila aged for 12 months in ex-sherry casks and 10% of the legendary Cascahuín 48 Añejo.
  • ABV / Proof: Bottled at 44% ABV (88 Proof).
  • Agave Origin: Made from 100% Blue Weber agave harvested from single-estate fields in the Los Valles region.
  • Traditional Methods: The agave is slow-cooked in traditional stone brick ovens for 72 hours, crushed via roller mill extraction, and undergoes open-air fermentation before copper pot distillation.
